Meta Business Setup

Since SyncFlo connects to your existing WhatsApp infrastructure, you need to set up your business account on Meta first.

Create a Meta Business Portfolio

  1. Go to business.facebook.com.
  2. Click "Create an Account".
  3. Enter your Business Name, Your Name, and Business Email.
  4. Verify your email address.

Create a WhatsApp Business Account (WABA)

Navigate to Settings

In Meta Business Suite, go to Settings > Business Settings.

On the left menu, select Accounts > WhatsApp Accounts.

Create Account

Click Add > Create a new WhatsApp Account.

Follow prompts to name it (e.g., "SyncFlo Support") and set your Timezone.

Add Your Phone Number

Inside your new WhatsApp Account:

  1. Click Settings > WhatsApp Manager.
  2. Go to Phone Numbers and click "Add Phone Number".
  3. Enter your "Clean" phone number (one not used on WhatsApp mobile app).
  4. Verify it via SMS or Voice Call.

Add a Payment Method (Crucial!)

Meta Requirements

Meta requires a payment method to be attached before you can use the API properly.

  1. In Business Settings, go to Billing & Payments > Payment Methods.
  2. Add a Credit/Debit Card.
  3. Link it to your WABA: Ensure this payment method is assigned to your WhatsApp Business Account.
